This subject looks at the rules that govern the formation and regulation of Laws and takes one’s knowledge of Islamic law to an advanced level. It is taught by following a classical text Noorul Anwaar by Imam Ahmed Jeevan (RA).
The syllabus follows the same structure as Usul Fiqh I, studied in the Advanced Diploma but goes into more detail in the respective Primary Sources of Islamic Law.
By the end of the course, the student will understand the elaborate matrix that underpin the formation of rules in Islamic Law. This is paramount for the formation of any future Ijtihad that is required to deal with the challenges of modernity.
